I Am So Proud Of You New York!!

You made history tonight New York. I can’t even tell you how proud I am of you. Tonight, despite the fact we knew it already, you told us that we are all equal. That we all deserve the same rights. That we can ALL marry who we choose to marry. You’re not the first to tell us this, but I hope that your decision will be a catalyst for other states to pick up the same equality. You are wonderful New York. I love you!!!

  3. I am happy that NY finally came around and expect all states to do so eventually.. some are just waiting to see if “so and so” does it lol.. well BIG NY did so now maybe other states will follow sooner rather than later!

  4. Huge yay! Now let’s get the South to get its head out of its ass.

  5. Wonderful news. 🙂

  6. Yes, big excitement for NY!!! It’s a huge steppingstone for all good things to come 😀

  7. So exciting! and i agree with Christina. Tn just passed the “can’t say gay” law…*sigh*

  8. YAYYYYY. I’m so proud of my adopted home state. You should see the puny half-assed little parades they’ve been having in celebration, however — I want to tell them to come to Louisiana, observe Southern Decadence, and then go back to New York and throw their celebratory parades. At least then they’d have a model of what parades are meant to look like. :p

  9. I do hope that more states follow suit… I am very proud of Canada, where to my understanding, equality is country-wide. 🙂

  10. Fabulous news! Hopefully the first of many more cities. xx

  11. Hello, finally!? Now WHEN is California going to get on the bandwagon? Hello, I mean really? 🙂
